Snowy & Sweet Stays

February is known as Vermont's snowiest month, and with Presidents' Week fast approaching, family snow days are on the horizon! You'll want to make plenty of time during your stay for outdoor adventures together like alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Extra exciting holiday events like the annual Torchlight Parade & Party, wine and cheese tastings, and movie marathons are even more reasons to book a snowy stay this season!

Between the cold days of winter and the green grass of spring, sits Sugar Season. It is a time filled with quiet escapes full of relaxation, cozy overnights, and sweet deals on stays at the Woodstock Inn & Resort. As the days warm up in March and April, the sap from maple trees begins to drip, the first step in making Vermont’s famous maple syrup. Join us for a Sugar Season Escape this year to receive daily breakfast and a $50 resort credit, making your luxury getaway even sweeter.

Warm Favorites for Winter

Fondue at Perley’s Pourhouse
The classic cheddar fondue has made a reappearance at Saskadena Six ski area’s restaurant! A favorite spot for lunch or after a day on the slopes, the decadent fondue is perfect for sharing with accompaniments like grapes, sausage, apples, and fresh potato chips. Add a local beer or glass of wine and you’ve hit the heart of après ski!
Woodstocker Burger in Richardson’s Tavern
It doesn’t get much heartier than a juicy burger made of locally sourced beef with chef’s own melty cheddar pimento cheese, and a slightly sweet and sticky bacon jam, all on a freshly house-made sesame bun, served with perfectly seasoned french fries. Find our signature burger in Richardson’s Tavern, the lunch and bar menus in the Red Rooster, and on our Room Service options.
Vermont Maple Cake for Dessert
Our signature dessert for a reason! The melt-in-your-mouth cake bursts with the sweetness of Vermont maple syrup, the rich ice cream balances the gooey confection, and the maple reduction sticks to your spoon, leaving you with the lingering flavor that makes you want more. Finish your meal in the Red Rooster or Richardson’s Tavern with this delicious dessert anytime.
