Women's Mountain Bike Skills Clinic
Join Liz, Leah (of Upper Valley Ladies Rides) and Suicide Six's Christina for a women’s only skills clinic at the S6 Bike Park!
Spend the day on the slopes of Suicide Six in beautiful Woodstock, Vermont learning and practicing the foundational skills of mountain biking. We will spend the morning covering the building blocks to strengthen your ride. Focusing on the very foundations of mountain biking like position and balance, operating your bike, and navigating terrain. We'll practice skills and drills and a few tricks to keep you looking rad! After a tutorial on loading our bikes on the lift, we'll take it to the trails and put it all together. Everything is challenge by choice, and all levels are welcome. Whether you are just starting out, or are a rider looking to up her game, come spend the day with us having fun, learning and geeking out on bikes!

Cost: $65 per person. ‘Bring a Friend’, and the second rider can participate for $55.
Cost includes full day lift access & 4 hours of instruction with certified coaches.
Bike Rental for participants: $45
Lunch and/or après beverages will be offered at an additional cost.
Liz Burdette and Leah Gartner are IMBA and PMBI certified mountain bike instructors living in the Upper Connecticut River Valley. Combined with their professional mountain bike instruction credentials, both women bring decades of experience in teaching outdoor education, coaching sports, recreation, and group fitness. They share a love of mountain biking and creating a supportive environment where women feel empowered to challenge themselves. Since 2015, Liz and Leah have been offering educational mountain biking opportunities for women year-round encompassing not only cross-country skills, but winter biking and mechanical clinics. Serving their growing community of ladies who shred, they have cultivated a weekly social ride in multiple riding venues in their neighborhoods. As Vermont Mountain Bike Association Ambassadors, both volunteer regularly to mentor women, to care for the trail networks and are active members in their local VMBA chapters.

Christina Mattsson will coach alongside Liz & Leah. Christina is the Director of Outdoor Programs at the Woodstock Inn & Resort and Suicide Six, and is a lifetime outdoor educator, professional fitness coach, and PMBI certified mountain bike instructor.
