Our resort-owned Saskadena Six ski area and Woodstock Nordic Center are open for the season! Despite the low amount of snowfall, both ski area teams have been manufacturing snow to keep conditions excellent on the alpine mountain and cross-country ski trails. Here are some of our favorite ways to experience the snowy season in Woodstock, Vermont:
- Take a lesson to find confidence on cross-country skis before exploring the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park.
- Bring the family to learn on the easy slopes with our incredible instructors while you shred the steeps at Saskadena Six.
- Stay for après ski with live music on Saturdays in the baselodge at Saskadena Six and don’t miss the legendary Fondue!
- Snowshoe through magical forests and up to scenic views on Mt. Peg or Mt. Tom.

- The Woodstock, Vermont Film Series Soirée at Billings Farm & Museum is this winter’s top fiesta! Celebrating legendary Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, the Soirée on Saturday, February 8 includes tickets to the film “FRIDA”, delightful cuisine by Woodstock Inn & Resort Executive Chef Matthew McClure, specialty drinks, live music, interactive art, and more!
- Join a Park Naturalist on a guided snowshoe hike or cross-country ski in the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park for the Winter Naturalist Series on Wednesdays this winter.
- Enjoy live music with Après Ski at Saskadena Six on Saturdays and Music at the Nordic Center on select dates through the season.
- Don’t miss the annual Torchlight Parade & Party at Saskadena Six to kick off Presidents’ Week with a nighttime parade down the slopes followed by a family-friendly celebration in the lodge.
