Within the Village, you can find the summits of Mount Peg and Mount Tom. Stroll more than 20 miles of colonial carriage roads for a look into Woodstock's historical past as they wander through the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park. Just beyond the town of Woodstock, there are larger mountains like Killington and Ascutney, and popular trails including sections of the Appalachian Trail!

Ottauquechee River Trail
The Ottauquechee River Trail begins at East End Park, right in the village of Woodstock! The strolling path weaves around wetlands and vernal pools so you can peek into the riparian ecosystem. The path also skirts along beautiful fields where you'll stay on the mowed edge, through wooded areas, and along the riverbanks.
Billings Farm Walking Trail
The Walking Trail at Billings Farm is a gentle one-mile loop through the farm field and along the picturesque Ottauquechee River that flows through the village of Woodstock, Vermont. You can take photos near the water access points on the riverside pathway and plan a picnic. Loop back towards the farm and enjoy the broad view of the barns and gardens as you walk by the flowers and vegetables.
