For those who have more confidence on the slopes, a chairlift gives access to the 28 trails ranging from easy to expert, including the signature race trail The Face. Killington Ski Resort
The Beast of the East is just 25 minutes away from Woodstock, Vermont! The largest ski resort in the Northeast is legendary with 7 distinct mountain areas including Pico and Killington Peak, the second highest point in the state at 4,241 feet. The ski area has over 3,000 feet of vertical drop, 92 miles of trails, and just under 2,000 skiable acres.
Passionista Tip: To cut driving time and avoid Killington Base Area crowds, park at Skyeship Baselodge and ride the Gondola up to the main peak. It makes for a fun ski at the end of the day right back to your car!
